Peggy Porschen is every instagrammers dream. With seasonal flower archways, endless pink decor and patterned coffee art – why wouldn’t it be? Following on from my afternoon tea reviews, here is my experience of the infamous Peggy Porschen.
Located a brief walk away from Victoria Station, Peggy Porschen has become renowned for its collection of cakes. The exterior is decorated with different flowers depending on the season ranging from valentines displays to hidden Easter eggs. Be warned, you may well be faced with a queue of bloggers waiting for their dream photo outside the cafe.
When to Visit?
We decided to visit late afternoon on a Tuesday to avoid the large queues that build up at the weekend. It is worth saving your visit for a day that the sun is shining (not that there are many of them in the UK). Eating your cupcakes outside makes the experience and also cuts down the queue for a table.
What to Order?
It wouldn’t be a trip to Peggy Porschen without one of their infamous cupcakes. This is what makes the experience. They have so many creative flavours of cupcakes to choose from including Eton Mess and Chocolate Heaven. The layered cakes are also incredible, decorated like work of arts you will want to take a photo of these. The coffees come with a variety of chocolate sprinkle patterns and taste amazing too.
Peggy Porschen is without a doubt the dream cafe for anyone who loves pink. Make sure you stop by when you are passing through London and let me know what you think!
